Embedded operating system

There are a couple options using async Rust:

• Embassy: more mature and supporting more microcontrollers family;
• lilos: simpler;
• DroneOS: real time.

Another option for ESP32 boards (which are supported by Embassy) is esp-idf which under the hood uses FreeRTOS.
